Evangelistic Celebration Recap April 5, 2008

Being with those whom we love always brings such joy to the heart! The atmosphere was filled with a spirit of peace. Many from our team testified about the goodness of God in spite of being in the midst of seemingly hopeless or overwhelming circumstances.  Transparency and humility used in sharing these experiences brings untold freedom to countless others who may be fighting a similar battle.

We celebrate the lives of three ladies who expressed their desire to invite Jesus to be their Savior and submit to Him as their Lord:

Alisa (age 43)
Mary (age 47)
Sherika (age 19)

At the Cross

All quotes are reported to you exactly as written-including are grammatical and spelling errors.  I do this not to embarrass, I do so to protect the content of the request.

“To forgive my mother for somthings she done to me a few years ago.
To forgeive my step brother and his family for taking things from me and saying things about me. I suffer from depression and suicide. And I pray for companionship because I am lonely.” “D” (Along with this request, a pill was surrendered and placed in the bag)

“I desire to be a Family as God intend with my baby Father as husband and wife.” “Y”

*Thank you to those of you who interceded for me during my surgery. My thanks is also extended to those who continue to pray for my complete recovery and healing.  This war has weapons that have been used against me that were not anticipated. I can not remember a darker time. The good news is that God is teaching me valuable lessons that will remain throughout my life. I am actively placing my trust and rest in JESUS as being my complete source of life, healing and restoration. Faith placed anywhere else, I have learned will not sustain personal peace or hope.
Oh, how we need Jesus…
My Love,
janelle
