January’s Celebration started with a bang!  We were so grateful to have visiting with us two lovely young women.  Elise Marie and Stephanie shared their individual and powerful testimonies. Each lady shared from the most sincere place-the heart! Indeed we were blessed in song from Elise Marie.  WOW! Such a voice the Lord has given to her.  These gals are constantly on the move with evangelism.  Vurtricia (One anointed lady and partner with RONHM), Elise Marie and Stephanie regularly evangelize Friday night’s beginning at Bojangles in Charlotte.  From there, WHEREVER they sense the Holy Spirit is directing them? This week their Friday night ended Saturday morning at 5:00am!!!

The shelter is once again filled to capacity. Some residents are forced to sleep on a mat on the floor. Pray for peace and comfort as you think of them. For a moment, can you imagine yourself sharing a living space with two hundred others? Can you envision being a mother and bringing your children to such a place? The Salvation Army is a blessing, as a mat is so much better than a dark corner on the streets.

We praise God that our new brothers and sisters who started their New Year with Jesus as Savior and Leader.  Please pray that His redemptive power will be made manifest to all.

Brother J. is the King of Angels.” “A” (A picture is drawn of Brother J. leaving earth and going to the sun. He is dressed as an angel. It is a beautiful and inspiring drawing.  This note was left by one of my best friends, a precious, sweet 8 year old volunteer who I have known since she was a baby.  “Brother J.” is actually “Brother Ray” a dear friend who died last year as a result of a DUI. He was killed while pushing his cart across the street. He truly was an angel to all of us who loved him).
