Goodness Gracious, it’s HOT!!! It seems that the early summer temperatures couldn’t help but contribute to a type of sluggish atmosphere at the beginning of our meeting.  Our guest speaker brought refreshment and hope to the ladies and children. Pastor Mary’s sister, Barbara shared her personal struggle with a drug addiction that lasted for over twenty years.  She was delivered eight years ago and celebrates the victory she now has. Amazingly, her sister Mary (my Spiritual Mother) heard Barbara’s story for the first time. What an encouragement to see long awaited prayers answered! We should never give up hope…even if it takes decades! “The prayer of a righteous man (or in this case WOMAN) avails much.”  Such a gift to have had Barbara ministering with us!  She was vacationing from her home in Minnesota. Thank You Barbara!  Thank you Pastor Mary for sharing your sister with us! I love you!!
